Nicanor Parra (natural within San Fabián de Alico, 1914) is a Chilethe physics & mathematics teacher & a poet (or antipoet).

Trying to acquire out of a conventions of poetry, he refers to himself as an "antipoet". His poetic language renounces a filtration of virtually all Latin American literature and adopts a further conversational tone similar to prose.

He comes from either a Parra family of Chilean artists & performing artist.
